How do you like the sound of spending a few days with a Local Professional Photographer amongst some of the greatest scenery in the World?
Our New Zealand Photography Workshops are based in Queenstown and are offered as 'on demand' Premium Landscape Photography Workshops organised to suit your exact Photography needs, in advance of your holiday.
"This is where I grew up and now I look forward to sharing my passion for teaching Photography in this beautiful part of the world".
You Choose between either a 3 or 5 day 'one on one' Photography Workshop.
What ever length of Photography Workshop you choose, we will look after all your Photography needs by taking you to remote locations that will amaze your artistic creativity and there we will teach you Professional Photography techniques to help you get more out of your Photography. This is a unique experience to be taught 'one on one' by a Professional Photographer amongst breathtaking scenery.
Each day I will take you to many remote locations within the 'Southern lakes District'. Some of the areas we will encounter can be seen in Hollywood blockbuster movies such as the 'Lord of the Rings trilogy'. We have also included 'Night Photograpy Workshops' for the evenings upon our return each day, or you may prefer to just relax after an incredible day of Photography and enjoy Queenstown's "Culinary delights".
What is also unique about this Photography Workshop is that we are allowing a maximum of only 3 persons on the tour. The reason for this is to offer a 'Premium Workshop and Tour' with the highest level of customer service to each of our customers, giving you our complete personal attention allowing you to get the most out of your Photography Workshop and holiday.
Please note ; All our Workshops are limited to (only) yourself or with a friend or two. Your next decision is if you wish to share this experience or have it all to yourself.
We also organise Photography Workshops to suit other locations within the South Island of New Zealand. (that's if you are not visiting Queenstown) and there is even the option of an extended duration of a 5 0r 7 day Workshop for those who want to explore more of this amazing country whilst learning Landscape Photography.
(We are locals, so we know where to take you away from all the Tourist Buses!)

Photography techniques and subjects covered can include:
- Understanding and practicing all the features that your Camera can offer.
- Photographing the natural beauty of ancient forests and discovering the world of Macro Photography beneath them.
- The art of Photographing Mountain Ranges, Glaciers and Rock formations.
- Use slow shutter speeds to convey the emotion of waterfalls and rivers.
- Historic gold mining towns and ruins photographed to compliment their original period.
- How to use Optical filters to enhance landscapes and balance available lighting in high
- Night Photography Workshops including sunset and long exposure control of man made and
- Set your White balance manually for accurate colour and tonal ranges.
- Mastering black and white digital Photography, whilst using the principles used with
- Continuous evaluation of your images.
- Raw image control in camera and with your supplied software, if you also bring a Laptop
- Basic to Advanced Photoshop.
- Anything and everything you wish to learn about Landscape Photography.

Workshop costs fully inclusive:
- Private 'One on One' Photography Tuition, uniquely tailored to your own Photography needs and travel plans.
- A minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 persons on any Workshop.
- Each day includes up to 12 hours of Photography Tuition,and can include a sunrise or sunset.
- Sunset and Night Photography Workshops are included, in a different location near Queenstown each evening.
- We travel a distance of over 500 km during the 3 days, surrounded by some of New Zealand's finest natural scenery.
- We leave from and return to your Accommodation in or near Queenstown each day.
- We also include some easy walking to reach some 'hidden gems', and it also keeps us fit.
- Full use of Current Canon Digital SLR Camera, L Series Lenses, Cokin filter System and accessories, to practice with also if you wish.
- Drinks and light snacks are provided during the day between meal stops.
Whats not included:
- Airfares, Accommodation and meals.
- Activities that you plan for yourself and personal purchases, outside of the Workshop.
Total price / Workshop: (Australian Dollars)
- One person. $5500/3 days, or $7000/5days.
- Two persons booked together. $6500/3 days, or $8000/5days.
- Three persons (as above) $7500/3 days, or $9000/5days.
Our Pricing is 'approximate' for 2012' (due to the fluctuating $NZ/$AUST Dollar).
